Train

Public transport is the cheapest way to travel in Sri Lanka and the train is one of the most comfortable modes of public transport that is available on the island. The train from Colombo will go only as far as Polonnaruwa and you can either take another train from there or hop in a bus to get to Pasikudha. Bus

Taking the bus in Sri Lanka is not as exciting as taking the train. The bus drivers, in particular, do not have discipline when driving hence leading to a lot of speeding, breaking rules, and overtaking on the wrong side of the road.
